Stargazer Joins PETA’s Cruelty-Free Beauty Program

We are excited to announce that Stargazer is now part of PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies Program, a trusted certification for cruelty-free beauty. This step reinforces our long-standing commitment to producing products without animal testing.

Since our launch in 1979, Stargazer has never tested on animals or instructed third parties to do so on our behalf. Our practices align with European laws banning animal testing, but our dedication goes beyond compliance. Joining PETA’s program highlights our promise to uphold ethical standards in the beauty industry.

The Beauty Without Bunnies Program helps consumers identify brands that share their values. With our inclusion, Stargazer proudly stands alongside other cruelty-free pioneers, offering products that reflect compassion and quality.

We thank you for supporting our mission to make beauty cruelty-free. Together, we can create a future where animals are respected and protected.

Sasha Akhavan-Zanjani is a Partner at Stargazer and one of the co-founders of Star Colour Laboratories, the company's in-house manufacturing lab. Sasha holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Engineering Product Design, and has worked in the cosmetics industry with Stargazer since 1991. Responsibilities span product design, regulatory compliance, and brand and marketing direction.
