The Full Stargazer Face Glitter Range — Which One Is Right for You?
This isn't just one glitter — it's seven distinct collections, each with a different finish, particle size, and purpose. Here's what makes each range unique:
Standard Glitter (Blue, Gold, Green, Pink, Silver, White)
Fine, classic cosmetic glitter in clean, bold colours. The most versatile option in the range — works on face, body, hair, and nails. If you're new to face glitter or want something that works across every look, start here. Silver and gold are the bestsellers for good reason.
Neon Glitter (UV Green, UV Orange, UV Pink, UV Purple, UV White, UV Yellow)
Glitter that glows under UV/blacklight. In daylight it reads as vivid neon; under UV it becomes intensely luminous. Essential for festivals and club nights with UV lighting. UV White is particularly striking — it appears as a clean white glow under blacklight that photographs brilliantly.
Hologram Glitter (Copper, Hologram, Lazer Pink, Onix, Pernoid)
Multidimensional rainbow-shift glitter that changes colour depending on the angle of the light. The hologram finish catches every wavelength of light simultaneously, creating an iridescent, prismatic effect. More complex and eye-catching than standard glitter — ideal for editorial looks, music videos, and when you want something that photographs unlike anything else.
Glitzy Glitter (Garnet, Lilac, Multi, Red, Royal Blue, Steel Grey)
Rich, deep-toned colours with high sparkle. The Glitzy range leans into jewel tones — Garnet, Royal Blue, and Steel Grey especially work as standalone colour statements rather than just accents. Multi mixes several colours in a single shaker for a more eclectic, layered effect without needing multiple products.
Starlight Glitter (Blue Halo, Lilac Cloud, Mars Crimson, Pink Nebula, Rocket Silver)
Inspired by the night sky, the Starlight collection has a deeper, more complex base than the standard range. Each shade contains a blend of particles that creates subtle depth — Pink Nebula has rosy-pink tones that shift to silver; Blue Halo moves between blue and silver. Perfect for editorial, fantasy, and goth-adjacent looks where you want glitter with more dimension than a single flat colour.
Plush Glitter (Charcoal, Currant, Mauve, Pine, Spice, Violet)
Muted, sophisticated tones for a more wearable glitter look. Where most face glitter ranges lean bold, Plush leans refined — Charcoal, Mauve, and Pine are the kind of glitter shades that work on a night out, a wedding, or any situation where you want sparkle without the full festival effect. Spice and Currant are deep, warm-toned options that work beautifully on medium to deep skin tones.
Pastel Glitter (Apricot, Coral, Lilac, Pink, Rose, Yellow)
Soft, spring-toned glitter in a fine particle size. The Pastel range delivers glitter that feels light and delicate rather than bold — ideal for daywear, bridesmaid looks, and anyone who wants the shimmer effect without intense colour payoff. Rose and Lilac are popular choices for hair and body glitter where you want the sparkle to catch without overpowering the overall look.
How the Shaker Format Works
The salt-shaker style dispenser gives you more control than loose glitter pots. Shake a small amount of glitter onto the back of your hand first, then pick it up with a brush, sponge, or your finger rather than shaking directly onto your face — this gives you far more precision over placement and prevents over-application. For body glitter, you can shake directly onto the skin over a fixing gel base and pat down gently.
How to Apply for Maximum Hold
Apply Stargazer Fixing Gel or a cosmetic adhesive to the area first. A thin, even layer works best — too much gel makes the glitter look clumped and wet.
Shake glitter onto the back of your hand, then transfer with a flat eyeshadow brush or your fingertip using a pressing motion. Don't rub — press and lift.
Build in layers if you want denser coverage: apply, let set for 30 seconds, then add more glitter over the first layer.
For hair and nails, no fixing gel needed — shake directly onto damp hair gel or wet nail polish and the glitter adheres as both dry.
How to Remove Face Glitter
Apply an oil-based makeup remover or cleansing oil to the glittered area and massage in slow circles for 20–30 seconds. The oil breaks down the fixing adhesive and releases the glitter particles cleanly. Wipe away with a damp cloth or cotton pad using one firm stroke — avoid rubbing back and forth, as this disperses the particles across a wider area. A second pass with oil removes any remaining trace. For hair glitter, a standard shampoo wash removes it completely.
