Long-Lasting Makeup Pens
Makeup pens that outlast your day. A brow pen that survives a long shift, an eyeliner pen that will not crease by lunchtime, a lip stain pen that holds through meals and drinks. If you have been looking at semi-permanent makeup and would rather not book a needle appointment for it, this is the range that gives you the same look a day at a time.
Everything uses a precision felt-tip format: clean application without brushes, palettes or mess. One coat lasts up to 24 hours.
Semi-permanent makeup, without the needle
Search for semi-permanent makeup and most of what comes back is a clinic: a technician, a needle, a patch test and a bill that runs into the hundreds. These pens are the other route. A semi-permanent lip stain or eyeliner stain sits on the surface, wears for up to 24 hours, costs a few pounds and comes off when you have finished with it. If you like the idea of waking up with your liner already on but do not want it tattooed, this is the range that does that job.
The word people use for it varies. Lip tint, lip stain, lip dye, eyeliner stain, eyeliner tint, peel-off liner: they all describe the same thing, which is pigment that bonds to the surface rather than sitting on top of it in a film that can be rubbed away.
Eyebrow Pen
Wide felt tip for filling and defining in a single stroke. Waterproof, smudge-proof and long-lasting. Works for natural fills or bold, structured shapes.
Eyeliner Pen
Holds through humidity, sweat and long nights without smudging or creasing. Available in seven shades, everyday black through to bold festival colours.
Lip Stain Pen & Lip Liner Pen
The stain bonds to the lip surface so it does not transfer onto cups or glasses. The liner keeps edges sharp and fade-resistant for up to 24 hours. Use them together or separately.
Temporary Tattoo Pen
Built for skin art: festivals, events, or everyday creative expression. Precision tip for thin or thick lines, waterproof once dry, and removes cleanly with an oil-based remover.
How long does it actually last?
Up to 24 hours on most people, which in practice means one application in the morning survives a full day and a night out. Lip stain lasts longest on clean, dry lips with no balm underneath, because balm gives the pigment something slippery to sit on instead of skin. Eyeliner lasts longest over powder rather than over a primer or a moisturiser. Neither will survive being scrubbed, and neither is meant to: removal is an oil-based remover and a minute of patience, not a laser appointment.
Which one to start with
If you have never used a stain before, start with the eyeliner pen, because a line is easier to place than a full lip and easier to correct while it is still wet. If you want the full effect, line with the lip liner pen first and fill with the lip stain, which is the closest this range gets to the look people go to a clinic for.
All pens are vegan and cruelty-free, and made in the UK. For a softer everyday finish, see our lip liners and lip pencils, and for the full eye range, eyeliner.
