Vegan, cruelty-free Hot Red semi permanent hair dye with conditioner for direct application to the hair, now in a 100ml tube. Think of it as Stargazer's take on a vivid cherry red, with none of the ammonia or peroxide found in permanent dyes. The formula hasn't changed; we have only updated the packaging and increased the size. The vermilion colour red hair dye is a fantastic shade that packs an amazing punch. The hair dye does not contain ammonia, peroxide or PPDs. The formula is gentle but powerful and just as vibrant as it was when it was first introduced in the 1980s.

Stargazer hair colour can be applied to natural, dyed or bleached hair. The Stargazer hair colours can be mixed to produce an ever wider array of colours. Stargazer Semi-Permanent hair colours are not tested on animals and have never been.

For the best results, use on pre-lightened hair; we recommend the Stargazer Bleach Kit. (Please note that Stargazer hair colour will not cover white or grey hair).

Instructions

This product contains ingredients that may cause skin irritation. Before use, do a preliminary test on a small, sensitive area.

1. Prepare the work surfaces with the aid of old towels. If the colour touches your skin, wash it off immediately to prevent staining.
2. Shampoo your hair (do not use conditioning shampoo or conditioner; a pH-balanced acid shampoo is best) and towel dry.
3. Apply the dye with the aid of the gloves or a tint brush, evenly covering the area required. Make sure the hair is mixed through with the colour.
4. Leave for approximately 15-30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly, washing away from the face.
5. The hair is ready for styling.

Tips to use

How long does semi permanent hair dye last?

Our Semi permanent hair dye lasts longer on prelightened hair. On hair that has not be bleached before application, it will last around 5-7 washes. On hair that has been pre-lightened, it will last up to 15 washes.

Other Tips For Use And Application

It is recommended to do a strand test before using the colour to monitor the shade result
The lightest shades of Stargazer dye only show on pre-lightened hair.
Stargazer hair dye will not cover white or grey hair.
The lighter the basic hair colour the more vibrant the end results.
For exceptionally long hair two bottles of Stargazer dye maybe needed
Stargazer colours can be blended together.
Store in a cool dry place

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, untested and in its original sealed packaging, in the same condition you received it. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Hygiene

For hygiene reasons, makeup and hair dye can't be returned once the packaging has been opened, or the product has been used or tested, unless it's faulty.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order on arrival and contact us straight away if an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, so we can put it right. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.

Exceptions
Gift cards can't be returned.

Exchanges
The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have and, once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the new item.

Refunds
We'll let you know once we've received and inspected your return, and whether your refund has been approved. If approved, you'll be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days.
